Mr. Harvey Wade, who recently retired from partnership in the Gisborne firm trading ns Hardy's Fruit Exchange, has taken up an appointment with the head office of It. and W. Ileilaby, Ltd., Auckland. MR. CHARLES K. GAMBLE, for 13 years a well-known figure in New Zealand and Australian petroleum marketing, has retired in the United States. He was managing director and chairman of the board of the Vacuum Oil Company. Ltd., from 1933 to 1945, and vice-president of the Standard Oil Company. New York, from 1946 until his retirement. Mr. Gamble was commissioner of the American Red Cross in the South-West Pacific during the war. and was awarded the Medal of Meriy
