Waikohu Golf Matches

On Wednesday August 22. lady members of the Waikohu Golf Club will play the first round of a competition for a trophy donated by Mrs. A. J. Oxbrow. The competition will be decided on the best net score of three medal rounds to be played at weekly intervals, and players may arrange their own starting times from 10 a.m. onwards. In a challenge match for the Ruru Ferns played at the week-end the holders, E. Bradley and Mrs. E. Cranswick. were defeated by R. J. Fisher and Mrs. J. Alien
