M cCREADY DEFEATS GORDON BY TWO FALLS

(P-A.) DUNEDIN, Aug. 2. Earl McCready. 17st. 31b.. defeated “Flash” Gordon, 17st., by two falls in a professional wrestling bout last night. In the fourth round the referee awarded a penalty fall againnst Gordon for striking the referee on the chest. The bout terminated in the sixth round when McCready floored Gordon with three forearm jolts and then took another fall with the rocking-chair splits.
