HOSPITAL PATIENTS

A shrinkage in the number of occupied beds at the Cook Hospital was apparent in the report submitted at yesterday’s meeting of the Cook Hospital Board by the medical superintendent, Dr. R. J. B. Hall. On May 31 there were 230 patients in hospital, these including 46 tubercular and 13 other Infectious cases. On June 30 the number of patients had fallen to 213; the decrease was shown in the general cases, the number of infectious cases having increased by two.
