FIVE BABIES BURNED TO DEATH

(11 a.m.) JERUSALEM, July 23. Five one-year-old babies were burned to death while their parents stood helplessly by in a fire in a babies’ home in the village of Kfar Arbel today.

A nurse, whose own baby was burned to death escaped through the fierce heat and dense smoke with one infant girl but the babv died soon afterwards. The nurse herself was badly burned. An upset oil stove set the wooden building on fire.
