HAWKE’S BAY WIN IN WAIRARAPA
(P.A.) CARTERTON, July 24. Hawke’s Bay beat Wairarapa by 17 points to 11 in a senior representative Rugby match on Saturday. The Hawke's Bay points came from*a try by J. Danielson converted by Wishnowsky, a try by Sutcliffe, a penalty and field goal by Wishnowsky and a try by B. Russell. For Wairarapa tries were scored by B. Couch, G. Henderson, and L. Sciascia, one being converted by Thompson. Wairarapa had the advantage in the early stages and kd 8-nil till just before halftime when a converted try to Hawke’s Bay left the score 8-5 at the interval.
