KEEN DEMAND FOR ALL CLASSES AT MORRINSVILLE

There was a large yarding of fat sheep at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday and recent high values were well maintained for lambs. Fat wethers showed a slight improvement.

Values remained firm for fat cows. There was little alteration in recent steady values for honor and store cows. A larger entry of empty Jersey heifers was on offer. The best two-year-old heifers were a shade easier. The demand for yearlings was unchanged. Another extra large yarding of dairy cattle came forward.
