CONSECRATION OF BISHOP CEREMONY
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 23. The consecration of the Roman Catholic Bishop-elect of Christchurch, the Rev. Father E. M, Joyce, will take place in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Barbadoes Street, on Sunday, July IG. The consecrating prelate will be the co-adjutor Archbishop of Wellington, Archbishop McKcefry. and lie will be assisted by two co-consecrators, Bishop Liston, Auckland, and Bishop Kavanagh. Dunedin. A civic welcome will be extended to the new bishop by the Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Ernest Andrews, at a public reception on July 17.
