A huge garage for parking automobiles that will have a public park on its roof is planned in New York City. The unique structure will be built in a section where there is an acute shortage of parking space. The garage, to be owned by the city, will have space for 850 cars. Petrol, oil. and automobile accessories will be sold in it. The building also will have a waiting room and stores. A park of approximately one acre is planned for the roof. It will have lawns, shrubs, trees, and walks.
