(10 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 4 Two Ulstermen brought the Englishbuilt sloop Vertue 35 into New York yesterday 52 days out from Falmouth. Their 25ft five-ton sloop made the Atlantic voyage in 17 days faster than Christopher Columbus did in 1492.

The voyagers claimed they would have been about ten days faster but for two storms. They travelled about 3600 miles.
