Mr. Dumbleton's grant provides for a three-month stay in the United States. He expects to leave New Zealand after about one month. Mr. Moffett left New Zealand on May 30 as a member of the delegation from the New Zealand section. Empire Press Union, to the Imperial press conference in Ottawa. Canada, this month. His United States State Department award will enable him to stay over in the United States for a month following the conclusion of the Imperial press conference. The two grants were made under authority of United States Public Law 402 (Smith-Mundt Act), which provides funds for visits by overseas specialists in various fields, to travel, study, observe and consult in their professions in America.
