There should bo a law against bread saws, according to Mr. Ken Shaw, secretary of the Bread Manufacturers’ Association. More bread was spoilt in the home than in the bakehouse, lie said. Bread saws destroyed the delicate structure of the bread.
Mr. Shaw, who was addressing a women's deputation, said an ordinary knife should be used to cut bread and husbands should be trained to keep the knife sharp.—Reuter.
