The Prison Camps consist mostly "of farming activities and applicants with a good fanning background will be at an advantage. " THE COMMENCING SALARY is £3BO p.a., rising to £425 p.a. by two annual increments, with good opportunities for promotion to higher ranks with corresponding higher salaries. A house allowance of £65 p.a. paid to | officers not provided with a depart- ! mental cottage. A remote allowance | of £3O p.a. is paid to married officers at the camps, while single- officers are., paid £ls p.a. Quarters are provided to single officers at a charge of £lO p.a.
