The press service of the West German Chancellor, Dr. Adenauer s Christian Democrat Party, commenting on “Britain’s two voices on Germany, said the Foreign Secretary Mr. Bevin saw “only guilt,” whereas Mr. Churchill was ready to give Germany a real chance The press service added: “Mr. Bevin has forgotten nothing and ctoes not intend to forget anything. Mr. Churchill is different. He knows there are living forces in Germany which Europe cannot do without.”
