AMATEUR BOUTS FOR MONDAY’S TOURNEY
BOXING PROMOTION
Six Tikitiki amateur boxers are scheduled to take part in bouts arranged for Mondav evening, when the* Gisborne Boxing Association will stage an amateur and professional tournament with Sonnv Hickling, Wellington, and Peter Gra,ham. Gisborne, starring in the professional welterweight contest which will be the particular draw of the evening. The East Coast team will include,, some highly-talented fighters, who are expected to extend their Gisborne opponents thoroughly. The list of bouts ha? been arranged as under:— Wi Waitoa, Tikitiki, v. H. Hooper, Gisborne. P Bovce. Gisborne, v. R. Harvey, Gisborne. Billy Ferris, Tikitiki, v. E. Morete, Gisborne. M. Povnton. Tikitiki, v. T. Grogan, Gisborne Bill Kav. Gisborne, v. P. Braxton, Gisborne. T. Taaru. Tikitiki, v. B. Harvey, Gisborne. Wi Gerrard. Tikitiki, v. H. Underdown. GisPorne. T. Lynch Tikitiki, v. B. Garlick, Gisborne A bout between R O’Brien and P. j O'Rourke, both of Gisborne, will be * held in reserve.
