(Herald Corresiximient.) On Saturday, February 25. Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Twislcton held a young people’s parly at their .home in Moltt in honour of the coming-of-ago of (lie former’s brother, Mr. G. K. Twislelon. Mrs. R. M. Twislcton welcomed the guests wearing a green linen frock and beige accessories. Mrs. H. L. Twislcton. mother of Ihc guest of honour, chose a petunia crepe frock on tailored lines and black accessories. The sitting-room had been tastefully decorated with bowls of gladioli and the guests enjoyed community singing and dancing on the lawn. A' delicious buffet supper was served, the pride of place being taken by the birthday enke, which had been made and iced by Mrs. R. M. Twislcton. Christening Party Following the christening in St. Paul’s Church, Motu, on Sunday, February 2G, of their small daughter, Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Twislcton held a family party at their home, Motu. Mrs. Twislcton welcomed the guests wearing a blue linen costume and beige accessories.

The godparents were Mr. and Mrs. A. Davidson, Rakauroa, and Miss J. Twisletnn. Auckland. A most attractive christening cake had been made and iced by Mrs. Twi.sleton. Anglican Ladies’ Guild The Molu Ladies’ Anglican Guild held its monthly meeting at SI. Paul’s Church, Molu, on February 24. There were 11 members present. A statement of accounts in connection with the recent flower show was read. It was decided in future to hold alternate meetings at Motuhora to enable those members in that district, who had no means of transport, to attend. The guild had bought paint for the church and this work was being done by the husbands of the guild members, so during the afternoon, Mrs. ,1. Englebretson. bn behalf of the guild members, took the opportunity of thanking the men for their good work in this connection. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses for the day. Personal Misses E, Tasker and M. Knowles were the guests of Mrs. H. L. Twisleton, Marumoko station, last week-end. Mr. and Mrs, A. Clarke and their daughter Jennifer have left on three weeks’ vacation.
