India Next Communist Target After China?

(9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 30. A plea to keep politics out of trade unions was made today to a union leaders’ meeting in London to form a new world confederation of trade unions. The Indian delegate, Mr. Phany Ghosh, claimed that too much stress was being laid on the threat of communism. He said that he would refuse to associate himself with the new organisation if anti-communism was to be its sole obiect. Mr. Ghosh added that the maior task in such countries as India was the provision of aid for undeveloped territories. He bar] been told in Germany by former prisoners-of-war of- the Russians that the next Communist target after China was India.
