PROGRESS ASSOCIATION REPORTS GOOD YEAR
Speaking to the report of the Midway Progress Association presented at the annual meeting held this week, the president Mr. E. Upton, drew the attention of members to the progress made during the year. He trusted that the same position would exist in the coming year. Presented bv the treasurer, Mr. L. Haggle, the balance sheet showed a satisfactory state of affairs. The election of officers resulted: Patron. Mr. H. F. Wise; president, Mr. T Grundy; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Berridge, ~R. Neilson, E. Upton; committee. Messrs. G. Gregory. T. G. Nowell, J. Howard. S. Gane. F. Pollard. L. Haggle, R. D. Robertson. B. Keets; hon. secretary-treasurer. Mr. C. Attewell. Votes of thanks to the outgoing president. Mr. Upton, and to the retiring treasurer. Mr. L. Haggie. who had held the position for the past three years, were carried by acclamation.
