BEST HORSES CARDED AGAIN FOR METROPOLITAN TROTS

yOMOIMiOW ut Addington the second day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting <Tubes meeting will be staged, and again the best class of light harness horses are carded.
The chief events will lie the New Zealand Derby Stakes, Ollivier Handicap tin which practically the same field that contested the N.Z. Cup will step out), the Free-for-All straight-out trotters contest, and the intermediate Sprint Handicap. , CHECKMATE, INGLE BELMER, FOLLOW ME and LOYAL PETER (balloted out of the N.Z. Cup) are the newcomers to the Olliver Handicap. The first-named, after his victory in the Empire Handicap in 4.15 2-5. looks about the best of the four. COMMANDER SCOTT and DUNDEE SANDY were both prominent for about a mile and a half in the N.Z. Trotting Cup when both weakened, with Commander Scott going better.
