BOROUGH WATER CONSUMPTION
Consumption of water in the reticulated area of the Gisborne Borough during the week ended October 24 totalled 8,650.000 gallons, an increase of 130,000 gallons on the reading for the previous week. The rainfall at Waingake during the past fortnight came to ,41in.. bringing the total fail for last month to 1.84 in.
