BANDITS SURRENDER AFTER JUNGLE ORDEAL
SINGAPORE, Nov. 1. A complete section of Chinese and Famil terrorists, bombed by the R.A.F. and harried by troops and police for the past two weeks, have surrendered in the Segamat area, Johore. The bandits, before leaving the jungle to surrender, buried their arms, but afterwards led the police to the hiding places. The bandits said that they suffered great hardships in the jungle, especially through the constant lack of food and clothing.
