EOUAL PAY FOR WOMEN URGED AT 1.L.0. CONFERENCE

(10 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 1. International action to assure equal pay for women was proposed by the International Labour Organisation today, says the British United Press correspondent in Geneva. The organisation’s 66 member countries have been asked to define their attitude and to propose ways of putting the principle into practice. Preliminary talks on the question will take place next June.
