COUNCIL’S EXTENSION OF MACRAE BATH STAND APPRECIATED
Appreciation of the sympathetic manner in which the council had considered suggestions for alterations and improvements to the Macrae Bath was conveyed in a letter received by the Gisborne Borough Council last night from the Gisborne Amateur Surf and Swimming Club. It was stated that the club would be making a special endeavour this year to raise £10(1 towards the cost of the enlarged stand proposal and to continue making annual contributions of not less than £2O.
