MAN SHOT FATALLY WHILE HUNTING DEER
(P.A.) HOKITIKA, Sept. 5. A man was accidentally killed while on a deer-stalking expedition in the Hokitika Valley on Saturday. He was: Mr. George Frederick Woodham, single, driver employed by the N.Z.R. Road Services.
While he was sitting with a rifle it discharged, the bullet entering his chest and causing death some three hours later.
