THREE COLLISIONS AT INTERSECTIONS

Three motor collisions, each following the other within a few hours, occurred at intersections in the main business area of Gisborne yesterday afternoon and last night.

A cyclist, Mr. Jack Jones, of Waikanae Beach Camp, suffered minor facial injuries in a collision at the intersection of Gladstone road and Peel Street. The car was driven by Mrs C. A. Hewetson, Ormond road. Later, two cars collided on the same intersection. One was driven by Mr. Percy Ingram, Wainui Beach, and the other bv Mr. John Holt. Russell Street. Mr. Ingram’s car, caught by its back wheel, was spun around in the opposite direction and finished up on its side slightly damaged. The third collision, between a car and truck, occurred on the intersection of Childers Road and Lowe Street. The car was driven by Mr. Raymond Thomson. Gordon Street, and the truck by Mr. Ernest R.
