New York Probe Into Spread Of Polio
NEW YORK, Aug. IT. There were 111 new cases of infantile paralysis reported in New York State today—6s of them “in New York City. Four people died of the disease in New York City today. One person died in the northern part of the State. New York City cases now number 1068, with 78 deaths. New Jersey's State Health Department announced today that there had been 402 cases of infantile paralysis in New Jersey this year, including 239 this month.
