Sir,—ln reply to “Ex-Motor-Cyclist,” we will say that he is quite right in saying that.“some” motor-cyclists have given “all” a bad name, but why must all sufTer to control them- Since when has the general public been given the job of controlling Gisborne’s traffic. There are motor-cycles in Gisborne which, unless they are seen, their presence is not noticeable, so his knowledge of motor-cycles seems out of date. About Regulation 4, has the Borough Council failed to enforce this very necessary rule; which it should do before punishing the non-offenders? “Ex Motor-Cyclist” reads our letter as defending the “nuisances” instead of pleading for the innocent.
