With returns as yet incomplete, it is estimated that the net yield of Friday’s street collection for the Crippled Children Society will be approximately £SOO. Though slightly below last year's total, this was a very satisfactory result, said (he organiser. Mrs. J. A. Dixon. 3’hanks were due (o the 25 volunteer sellers of badges, and to the public for their willingness to be of practical assististance to the society.
