The action was taken with a view to | closing Tangku to shipping. Thr^.' Panama merchant ships and a 7000-ton f foreign vessel were ordered to leave f Tangku. I When the orders were obeyed the I .foreign ships were ordered not to enter | Tangku again as the port was closed, i Among the ships detained was a 1000ton Communist vessel which ignored the Nationalist warning.
