APPEAL TO ALL SPORTS
Sir The St. John Ambulance “Popular Girl” campaign is drawing to a close and during the coming week every effort to make this a success will be greatly appreciated by the members of the brigade. . , I wish to make a very special appeal to all those players in the various fields of sports and games to give their assistance from now on to the final night. Members of both nursing and ambulance divisions have rendered assistance in 485 cases since the beginning of this year and most of this has been in the playing fields in and around Gisborne. We know that our efforts are appreciated and next week we want you to work 'for us in our appeal to get a home of our own. Now, players, we have never let you down. Help us to help you. c E BICK FORD District Officer, St. John Ambulance Brigade.
