(P.A.) AUCKLAND,'Aug. 11. “In 1949 the emphasis in relief work has changed from providing food for the body to food for the mind,” said Mr. D. Cairns, secretary and chief executive officer for the New Zealand National Commission of the United Nations’ Educational, Scientific and Relief Organisation. who has returned by air from Paris.
Mr. Cairns has been conferring and part in discussions at UNESCO headquarters.
