Polio Cases A Record In New York

NEW YORK, Aug. 9. Sixty-eight new infantile paralysis cases—the largest for any 24 hours period in the epidemic—and two deaths were reported in New York City today. The total number of city cases for the year is now 734. with 52 deaths. The total for New York State is 1050 cases with’ 06 deaths.
