COURT SEQUEL TO THEFT OF OVERCOAT
A’ Maori labourer, Iwiwhati Biddle, alias Dave Biddle, aged 22, Whatatutu! pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court in Gisborne this morning to the theft of an overcoat valued at £5, the property of John Henderson. Sergeant D. M. Campbell said the overcoat had been stolen from Henderson's hut at Whatatutu.
Mr. E. L, Walton, S.M., Imposed a fine of £2.
