SIMLA The East Punjab gaols are overcrowded so the Government has decided to release 500 of the 11.000 prisoners. Men sentenced up to foil i vears who have undergone threefourths of the term will be eligible foi release. Dacoits and habitual offender! will not be released.—Reuter.
