FRANKLIN FARMERS PAY SHORT VISIT TO GISBORNE

. A party of 26 members of the Franklin branch of' Federated Fanners arrived at Gisborne last night from Napier and are the guests of thb J Gisborne district provincial executive during a short visit. Most of them are dairy men and today they visited a number of dairyfarms in the district. This was' preceded by an inspection of the Maniituke research station.

The visitors were to leave today for Te Puia and from there will travel to Whakatane.
