INFANT’S DEATH AT MURIWAI

As the result of the death of an infant aged 14' months at the home of his parents yesterday afternoon, an inauest is to be held before the district coroner, Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., on Monday morning. The infant was Hemi Poupoto Downes, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Downes. Muriwai. Previously the infant had been attended by the district nurse, but it is thought he died, during a coughing fit at 4.40 p.m. A post-mortem examination has been ordered.
