Fencing Wire Cargo

Mixed with a cargo of 1000 tons of many types of merchandise, arriving at Napier aboard the Wairangi on Saturday will be nearly 400 tons of fencing wire and 50 tons of galvanised barbed wire. Most of the wire is for Hawke’s Bay, and authorities in charge of its distribution say that the shipment will greatly relieve the shortage. The remainder of .the consignment is for Manawatu arid Gisborne. The wire was transhipped at London from Antwerp.
