GOLF DISPUTE SETTLED

SYDNEY, May 13,

Advice has been received from Scotland that the No. 5 iron used by the Sydney golf professional Eric Cremin has been passed by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. The iron was sent to St. Andrew’s for a ruling after von Nida had protested against the iron s used by Pickworth and Cremin at a tournament in Sydney last November. Von Nida claimed that the punchings were too deep and would enable a player to get more control.
