PRICE FOR GREASY CROSSBREDS EASIER
LONDON, May 12.
The first sale of the third series for this year of the London wool sales was held today with offerings totalling 21,851 bales, of which 18,638 were sold. New Zealand submitted 7157 bales and Australia 10,167. Although greasy offerings were of average quality, competition was at lower levels. Medium crossbreds met a good demand and showed little change, but scoured crossbreds were slightly easier.
