fP.A.i AUCLAND. May 9. Record rainfalls have been recorded in the Taupo and Tokaanu areas. In the 24 hours ended at 9 o’clock this- morning, B.7in. fell at Tokaanu and- 4.2 in. at Taupo. In the 24 hours ended on Sunday morning 2.Bin. fell at Tokaanu. Considerable road damage is reported.
