(10 a.m.) VATICAN CITY, May 9. The Pope today blessed a huge wooden cross brought to Rome by Belgian Catholic pilgrims which will be carried through the cities of the world to draw attention to the Pope’s appeal for the internationalisation of holy places in Palestine.
