WORLD EXERTS IN TEACHING BY MAIL TO MEET IN N.Z.

(P.A.) WELLINGTONU, May 7. Representative of at least six countries, the third international conference of correspondence educators is to take place in Christchurch from April 18 to April 27 next year. About 100 delegates are to participate in discussions covering the whole field of correspondence education and allied subjects. The conference, which will be under the chairmanship of Dr. A. G. Butchers, president of the international council of correspondence educators and principal of the New Zealand Education Department's correspondence school, will be officially opened by the Minister of Education.

The countries to be represented include the United States, Canada, Australia. Norway, Sweden and Denmark. An invitation has also been extended to South Africa.
