Mr. S. S. Dean Expects To Write Book On Game Of Rugby

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 7. Writing a book on Rugby will be ona of the many interests of Mr. S. S. Dean, a leading New Zealand Rugby .administrator for 28 years, who is retiring at the end of August from the managership of the Wellington office of the South British Insurance Company. He will be associated with the company in an advisory capacity and will also retain other business connections. Mr. Dean will continue his association with Rugby through the presidency of the Poneke club (Wellington) and is also retaining his executive post with the British Empire Games committee. He was re-elected yesterday for a further term as chairman of the Wellington Fire Board.

Mr. Dean’s successor as the Wellington manager of the South British company will be Mr. A. M. C. Spooner, of Invercargill.
