Princess Margaret Spectator At Horse Show In Rome
(11 a.m.) ROME, May 6. President Einaudi received Princess Margaret today when she arrived in the Piazza di Siena to see the British jumping team at the Rome International Horse Show. The Princess had driven to Rome from Sorrento. 170 miles away. The official party sat in a red-draped box in front of the diplomatic gallery. Members of the winning French team, after receiving their trophies from the president, were presented to the Princess.
Princess Margaret tonight attended a dance in her honour at- the British Embassy.
