THREE SOVIET CONCESSIONS POSSIBLE

(10 a.m.) BERLIN, May 6. The American licensed Berlin newspaper Abend said today it had learned from Soviet Military Government circles that the Soviet Foreign Minister, Mr. Vyshinsky, was prepared to make three concessions on Germany. These were: 1. The establishment of a federal Republic without any Soviet stipulation on precisely when it would be set up. 2. The Soviet Union would work for a German unified currency under and conditions “to put the collapsed Soviet zone on its feet again.”

3. Russia was prepared to withdraw completely from Eastern Germany, even if the negotiations in Paris failed.
