New Liner Rangitane To Be Launched Soon
LONDON, April 25. The Douchess of Gloucester on June 30 will launch the new motor passenger ship Rangitane from the Clydebank shipyard of John Brown and Company. The ship, which will carry about 400 passengers in one class, is being built to the order of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The new ship will have a speed of 17 knots and a tonnage of 19,000.
