FINES ON BOOKMAKERS TOTAL £325

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 27. Finos totalling £325 were imposed on three men who pleaded guilty before Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday to charges of bookmaking. Christopher Vincent Hayes, aged 32, a tally clerk, was fined £IOO. David John Adams, aged 32, greengrocer, was fined £75 and Ronald Hanford, aged 33, a builder was fined £l5O.
