GIANT HUMAN RACE POSSIBLE
SAN FRANCISCO. Experiments with rats show that it may be possible to produce a race of giant human beings. At the University of California Dr. Herbert Evans has been giving glandular extracts to rats, with some surprising resultsAfter 23 years’ research he can produce rats which are twice the normal size, and which are lean and supple in their old age. Dr. Evans thinks that if the glandular extracts had been given to men they might have grown to tremendous size. More important, they might be youthful at 80. But the treatment might have other results not yet determined.
