Allen.— Suddenly at New Plymouth on April 25th, 1949, Lily, beloved wife of F. E. Allen, 21 Dominion Rd„ Gisborne, and loved mother of Jean (Mrs. A. Ahlin),. Evelyn (Mrs. G. Ardern) and Lorna- A service will be held in Cochrane’s Chapel tomorrow Wednesday at 3 p.m., the funeral then leaving for the Taruheru Cemetery. T. N. Cochrane, Funeral Director. Holmes.—At Cook Hospital on April 25th, Elizabeth Ann, only daughter of Alfred and Mary Holmes, of 54 Anzac St. A service was held at Cochrane s Chapel, William St., today, Tuesday, at 4 p.m., after which the funeral left for Taruheru Cemetery. T. N; Cochrane, Funeral Director. Scott.—On 25th April, 1949, at her late residence, “The Willows,” Waipsoa, Enid Ellen, second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scott. The funeral left her late residence on Tuesday for the Ormond Cemetery.
