TWO CARS MEET IN STREET COLLISION

Following a collision between two cars at the intersection of Rutene road and Harris street at about 5 p.m. yesterday, ’ the smaller vehicle of the two struck and sheared off a hardwood corner post of a fence. The occupants of the small car, driven by Mrs. G. M. Johns, 10 Heta rd., suffered mainly from shock. The other occupants of the car were two sons of Mrs Johns, Neville and Warren, aged 11 and nine years respectively. Warren received a superficial cut on his face, was treated at the scene of the accident and allowed to go home. The driver of the other vehicle was Mr. T. Lockie, a visitor from Rotorua.
